I need to replace the motor on an Ariel Pool Skimmer that I purchased two months ago. The company that originally manufactured and sold this unit has gone bankrupt. Although I have searched for several hours, I have been unable to find a replacement motor.
The text on the motor reads Neocene 2H42A708 17022201.
Can anyone help me find a source for this motor? Thanks for your assistance.

Sorry to hear about the problem.
It’s not easy to find this motor since it was probably manufactured specifically for that product. Searching for 2H42A708 17022201 on Google shows nothing.
Also, RobotShop does not have any replacement parts for Ariel or Skimbot.
Did you buy your robot from RobotShop or directly from Solar-Breeze or somewhere else?

I purchased it from Solar-Breeze. Also, note that I found a specification for the motor at the following link:

Which of these from the list is it exactly?
It looks like a small stepper motor.
Can you then get in contact with this company where you found this datasheet and ask if they are selling this motor?
I think that it is one of the 2H42A7 models except I don’t know which one. I sent an email to ECE; however, the company has yet to answer me. in the meantime, I was hoping that someone in this forum knew of a potential supplier.
