After months of use with zero issues, my Neato Botvac Connected D4 failed during startup with the dreaded 3000 error code.
I could see through the turret openings that the LIDAR thing didn’t appear to be spinning. I removed the case and powered up the D4, where i could plainly see the LIDAR drum not spinning. I gave the drum a nudge during its power up and the D4 began operating normally (without its case!), which confirms the LIDAR spin motor is the source of the 3000 error code.
My intention at this point is to replace the LIDAR 1839 spin motor and proceed from there. Where does one source this diminutive component?
