Looking for a PCB with sound as input and PWM as output. MP3 output drives RC Car servo.
@JoeMezzoJr Welcome to the RobotShop Community. Never heard of nor seen that type of product.
Missed your solution to the sound to rc servo controller
Unfortunately don’t have an “off the shelf” solution since it’s not really used anywhere, or often enough for a company to have created it as a product. You’ll likely need a program a microcontroller, in unison with an MP3 board, which then outputs the RC signals. It’s an entirely custom project.
Hmm. I thought it was used everywhere. That is, at least everywhere that people use Alexa and Google. Microphone (analog)…Speech Recog… To ADC … To Digital… To be processed .
So I guess I need to look for microphone on a pcb.
Joe
For Alexa, Google Home and other home automation / entertainment systems, there needs to be protocol compatibility between the two products. Normally you would connect a microphone to a microcontroller (microcontrollers are designed to be as versatile as possible, and since very few applications require a mic, it is almost never included on the PCB).
For example this audio synthesis / speech recognition module can be easily connected to a separate microcontroller:
