sound sensor

Hi all
I have to design a robot which can go towards the place where the sound is coming and if the objects are there in the way it is going it shd take a turn and move to the place where the sound has come
most importantly the robot shd have more than 3 or 4 microphones and it shd be done using a micro controller.
How could I do this job ?

Need some examples or videos or any suggestions

Hi navikandimalla,

You basically already outlined the parts you will need: a few microphones, a few distances sensors and a microcontroller. Since you said “go towards” you will either need a commercial robot base or build your own using motors, wheels and a chassis.
