Solidworks BRAT

I put together the peices for a BRAT body + servos, but I dont know how to save them and send them in.

Hi jtt350,

You should give us some more information. I have absolutely no idea what your question is. What do you want to do with your drawings? Where do you want to send them? Give us some more information and we’ll see if we can come up with a answer!

I was wondering if anyone had a use for a BRAT assembled in SolidWorks (3D modeling), and if they did how would I send the file in to have it posted on the website.

I don’t know if somebody build a brat in solidworks. Maybe Jim got is somewhere… Jim? I do know that most of the SES parts are available for download. This makes it easy to build the brat yourself.

Beth (Snailkeeper) takes care of website. She can place stuff on the website for download if they’ve are good quality.

I don’t know how to use solid works to tell you how to save projects to send in. If your wondering what format to save in, .IGS or STEP are two good ones to use. Most 3D software programs can open .IGS files.

Do you have a screenshot of for model?

Hello jtt350,

Sounds like you have created a BRAT in solidworks. Cool! We can post the assembly in any of the formats on the 3d models page. Just send it to Beth, [email protected] and we will put it on the website ASAP. Thanks for doing the work!

I sent the files, Hopefully they will be up soon
Thanks

That’s amazing!

:open_mouth:

Great work!

Yeah! That was awesome!

Great work.

Bah, it’s not true to life… Where are all the cables and batteries? :stuck_out_tongue:

Haha, just kidding. Very nice work.

Thats not a solid works model, you spray painted a real brat and put it on a glossy black table. :stuck_out_tongue: just kidding.

Great work!

That’s a really big table then… :open_mouth:

Yeah, its the size of my kitchen island. No! for real!
