Small robot arm with matlab

I would like to use a small robot arm(4 or 5 DOF) with matlab in order

to grip the floral organs (petals…).
what the best robot suitable for this purpose?

Any small robotic arm that offers a serial interface should be able to be used with matlab with a small/reasonable amount of effort.
