Small lifing motor

I need a small motor that can lift at least 15 kg. A wire needs to be connected to the motor with a pulley or something similar for a 2m long wire. Furthermore, the motor needs to be remote controlled from distance. What do you recommend for me to buy so I can assembly this? Or do you think this already exists?

To choose a motor you need to understand the concept of torque, which is force times distance to center of rotation.
T = F * r
In your case, the radius will likely be the radius of the pulley, and the force is 15Kg (assuming it’s against gravity).
You can see that the bigger the radius, the more torque is needed.
For example: https://www.robotshop.com/en/smooth-hub-pulley-2-inch.html
This has a radius of roughly 1 inch (2.54cm), which would require a motor with a continuous torque of 15Kg x 2.54cm = 38.1Kg-cm (530oz-in).
This would need to be ~1/4 stall for a motor, which means a pretty large motor.

Ex: https://www.robotshop.com/en/12v-5310-rpm-cim-brushed-dc-motor.html
Plus: https://www.robotshop.com/en/banebots-p80-gearbox-standard-shaft-cim-mount-12to1.html
… would give ~2x the torque you need.

There are many, many motor + gearbox combinations on the market, and many different pulleys, but 15Kg is not lightweight so the motor needs to be of a decent power.
