Hi I’m looking for a part for a discontinued paintball marker. I need the lcd screen. It’s difficult because the screen has its own circuit board. Also looks as tho the lcd and lcd circuit board are connected via a ribbon connection. From what I can tell,the lcd screen boards are good while the lcd screen itself goes bad. It would be a huge help if you had something that would work. I’am sorry I do not understand how to upload a picture to this message body. I did send pictures with my questions to your facebook page. When you click “reply” there is a grey bar labeled “Attachments” below the main WYSIWYG window.
Browse to the files on your computer and click “upload” for each.
In regards to a comparable LCD, you would need to know the communication protocol it used (serial, I2C etc).
Since the microcontroller already output specific data to specific pins, you’re essentially reverse-engineering the unit.

Unfortunately we do not hack products internally in order to try to figure out their specifications / communication protocol.
If you really want to look into a replacement which is not offered by the manufacturer, you’ll need to start hacking the unit to figure out how it works.
