I need a Slot car speed controller with variable brakes from 0 to max (max is with motor shorted) Speed is not a problem but variable brakes is. I don’t know how to do it!
Voltage is 15, Amps is 20 or more, control 3 or 5 volts.

Concerning how the brakes work, there seem to be many answers available online. Here is one that seems complete enough.
Therefore, you will need to add a variable resistance for your motor short to control the amount of braking.
