Hello. How can i boot the SIM808 SHIELD without pressing the boot buton by programming it on ARDUINO UNO connected?

in the DFR_RobotSM808.h they speak about JP checkPowerp… (But JP must be soldered)
What is the JP Jumper?
Where is it?
What do i have to solder and connect?

According to this schematic, https://www.robotshop.com/media/files/pdf/TEL0097-SIM808-GPSGPRSGSM-Shield-V1.0-sch.pdf , BOOT button is a push button.
You could maybe unsolder it, and solder small relay which you can control by Arduino.

thougt it would be possible to connect the pin 9 to one of the 2 pin of the push button.
But I can’t find witch one nor if the tension of 5V is allowed by the circuit.
And if not, i d like to use a Soid State Relay but i don’t know the tension nor the polarity. Do you know that?

Hello,
According to schematics, you just need to connect POWRKEY pin of the chip to the ground. That is what this BOOT push button is doing.
If you need more info, maybe you can write to [email protected] and [email protected] and see if they can give you better info.
