Silent Stepper motor

Hello

I need some advice from you for my little robot project. I want to build a 4WD rover for my appartement and thus it should run as silent as possible. In best case it is not louder than a whispering.

Since I am new to that field I am doing some research. I found that stepper motors can be driven very silently in the microstepping mode.
Could you suggest me a product from robotshop (4 stepper motors and a compatible controller) with a stepper motor voltage between 4-9 V which is very silent in operation? Could you share your experience?
I stumbled upon a new driver IC from Trinamic the TMC2100-LA which runs in the stealthchop mode. Could you tell me which product (controller) has this chip and with what motor it would be compatible?

Thank you in advance for your help.

Unfortunately almost none of the motors we offer (DC, servo, stepper or otherwise) have data regarding decibel level (which depends on many factors).
Normally sounds is not considered much when it comes to mobile robots, and as such we don’t have a lot of advice to provide - perhaps people in the community will be able ot offer their insight / experience.
