I am looking for a 24v Linear Actuator that is “silent” or very low in noise, i need it to make a fake frog look like its jumping, the frog is the size of a matchbox and weighs less than 1kg
Has anyone got any recommendations ?

Muscle wire may be a little underrated ?
The frog is solid steel with 60mm of threaded rod coming out of it
The only other very silent linear motion system which comes to mind would be a solenoid (electromagnet). Maybe others here will have ideas.
