Shoulder Servos - Alignment

I followed the instruction about centering servos and aligning them. I drilled 2 new holes in the shoulder horn, but the shoulder servos are still fighting each other. They only work in the position that they were in when I drilled them (all=1500), any other position and they are off.

My guess is that the servos aren’t parallel and the horns aren’t concentric to each other… but I haven’t got a decent idea about how to align them any better than they are.

I’ve got 2 horns left I can drill into, the first one looks like garbage after multiple attempts to re-drill.

My question is are there any tricks I’m missing, or is it possible to use the pre-made holes in the horns and just digitally offset the servos so they match?

RIOS allow you to use two outputs from the SSC-32 to allow alignment in software. Check 7.3 Independent shoulder servo drive page 21. Hope this helps.

yep thanks, found it.
