Setting up a Spectrum DX6 to operate a Battlebot in with a single Stick

My son and I are building his first battlebot and are trying to use the Spectrum DX6 we bought to control it. Does anyone have anything we can use for help to set the radio up so he can drive it with a single stick?? Any assistance would be greatly appreciated.

Welcome to the forum. I believe you can find what are you looking for looking inside the manual. Look for the receiver part to get an intuition of how to connect and use this controller.
