SES

Hi all… sorry if this is a really naïve question but I am a little confused about the SESs. I am looking to build the 3DOF Round Hexapod listed on this site (I’m new and cannot paste any links).

Anyway I have counted the brackets etc that I will need and it appears that for one leg I will need: 2 multipurpose brackets, 2 L brackets, 2 C brackets, a 3inch tube and rubber leg and 3 servos… then I will need to times this by 6 for all the legs (18 servos)? Then I have to build the body to which these legs are attached… can I use the body of any of the other hexapods listed on the site? So all of this inclusive will cost me about the same price as a top of the range hexapod kit with everything included.

Am I going about this the right way? have I missed something here? It appears awfully expensive for the SES… can somebody please advise with some detail and clarity as I only get one post

May I ask why you are wanting to buy individual components to build legs when we have them already kitted for you. We have all the styles at the moment except for Phoenix. The pricing will be the same compared to our full kits.

Also you are not limited to one post. You just can’t post links until you have posted two link free posts and 24 hours has elapsed.
