Have you considered using Belleville washers with the SES ball bearing hub? The controllable compression would be very useful here. Next order to MSC (if I remember) I’ll get some.
I experimented with some compression washers, but they weren’t heavy duty enough and squashed flat with no rebound. I’d be very interested in a better solution. Let me know how it works and the part numbers if you don’t mind. Thanks!
I wonder if they were to thin? Thicker ones probably have more tension. Also using two opposing ones like this “()” might provide more strength also. one thicker one is better.
