might just be a blonde day. I received the kit for the SES arm today and am just building up the base at the moment, however in step 7 of the assembly guide it instructs to use four 2-56 x.250" machine screws and nuts… but i can’t find them anywhere?
In the ASB-13B packet i’ve got the bracket, two blue packs of four sets of nuts/washers/bolts, and then 3 longer black nuts and bolts in a sealed compartment at the bottom. I’ve looked through the whole arm kit and still can’t find what i’m looking for - surely it’s not a set in another packet?
So it would be in the arm kit, in case you haven’t hecked in there. The screws wouldn’t be in a little packet, typically they are in their own little section of the main bag that is heat sealed into their own compartment, make sure you didn’t look this over
Nope… got all the individual components in the main arm kit each sealed in their own bags with their own fittings (i assume), no other heat-sealed compartments apart from the one at the bottom of the ASB-13B kit, and they’re a half inch, much too long.
I’m sure i’m being stupid - the whole kit is so neatly packed i refuse to believe they’ve been missed out!
One more thing i forgot to add, typically Jim include extra components within these kits, so add all your screws up and see if there are extra, maybe the screws are included in the bag of something else and they semm like they just go with that part
Long boring story, but the ASB13 does not currently include the 1/4" 2-56 screws. You will find that there are ample 1/4" 2-56 screws to build your bot. Borrow them from another bracket parts bag. Like Chunga said you will have extra when you are done.
