I’m new to this, I bought the ssc32u and a 12 v 5 amp power supply to run my board and 6 servos. I am having problems setting everything up! The board powers on, but when sequencing, the servos don’t move! Please help as I am desperate and panicking !
I switched out power supply from 12v to 6v…there is power getting to the board, all LEDS are lit…Ive opened the utilty and it’s not finding my device. Also, I’ve uninstalled and reinstalled the driver. I’m doing something wrong, pleas help.
I have the board powered by 6v wall AC adapter. The board receives the signal, during the routine, the green LED blinks only during the “movement of the servo”. I’ve tested each servo in each connector using the SSC Servo utility by using the slider, etc. with no avail. After initially plugging the servos in, they “jolt” but no movement during the routine. Any info is appreciated.
12V applied to RC servos may have burned them. Almost all RC servos are meant to operate from 4.8V to 6V. Can you provide a few clear photos of your setup?
Current connections seem ok. Within the SSC-32 sequencer, ensure the baud rate is set to 9600, and it shows the board as “found”. If both lights are on, and the board is powered at 6V, then it’s likely the servos which were damaged.
After doing everything I’ve been instructed to, including downloading old drivers for it to work in windows 10…it looks like I got a faulty board. Again, it receives my commands, but does not transmit them to the servos . Two month project down the drain–thanks for nothing
It is rare that these boards are faulty. Can you give us the details of the power supply you are using, which servo you are using, and a screen shot showing the setup on the computer?
I truely hope you are right and can help resolve this issue. I am Using a 6 V wall AC adapter.
