SSC32
I have been using 10 Hitec 311 servo’s on bank 1 - 0-9
VS1 - 6V 1.5A Power supply
Jumpered to connect VS1 to VS2
Never a flicker of fault.
Now adding 8 more Hitec 311’s
That will take me to bank 2 - 17
Should I be using a second power supply (VS2)?
Or can I fill all 32 positions.
Or use a second SSC32.
What are my power requirements.
They all operate at same time maybe 10% of time.
Better to ask the dumb questions before smoking that regulator.
Since I only have the 1 board at present.
The regulator is only powering the logic chips and microcontroller. it’s not supplying the power to the servos in any way. You can check the current draw with a meter to see how much is being consumed by the 311 servos. If it’s not staying at or exceeding 1.5amps then it will work just fine. If you need to use two supplies then put one on each side of the SSC-32.
