Servo mounting on BRAT - do I need the rubber cushions?

Hello All,

I am assembling the Brat. Do I need to use the rubber cushions that come with servos ?

As a R/C Airplane builder, I have to install the rubber cushions with the metal grommet but that is for airplanes.

I ask because - looking at the build tutorial pictures - there seems to be no extra threads showing after the nut is installed (in the steel screw). But I can not make out if the rubber cushions were installed or not - as the hardware, servo and the cushions are all black and the details are not clear in the pics!

The tutorial does not tell you to install the rubber bushings though, right… :wink:

And when you use them the screws are too short, right…
