Servo Mount like Servocity ServoBlock for the Lynxmotion Smart Servos?

Hello community,

I wonder if Lynxmotion / Robotshop have plans to create something similar to Servocity ServoBlocks for the Lynxmotion Smart Servos?.. I would like to drive wheels directly from the Smart servos but I want the weight of the robot to be isolated by a shaft like on the ServoBlocks…

@CAJLMetalHead Welcome to the RobotShop Community. Unfortunately Lynxmotion does not have servo blocks like those from ServoCity. The closest product would be the dual ball-bearing supported gearbox, which can also be used with a 1:1 gear ratio:



A 1:1 gearbox kit is not available online, but if it is of interest, we can discuss.

Yes…I saw the gearbox option… but that adds more components and make the robot larger than what I need… even a 1:1 gear ratio… although it provides a way to isolate the servo shaft… it makes the robot a bit too large for my design…

I am going to look into the possibility of modifying the servoblock to work with Lynxmotion Smart Servo… :slight_smile:
