Hi There,
I am a new member and have a question. I have a SSC-32 Board and bought the SSC-32 Sequencer Software. I have been able to work with setting up a test program to move the servos. The problem is that when I set limits of travel for the servos, even though I save the limits, once the computer is turned off, the limits information goes away. When I turn the computer back on again, the travel steps are still there but the limits on the servos are not. Any suggestions for saving the limits?
Thanks, Tony
Hello Tony,
if you want to set “default limits” you must use “ConfigSSC32.cfg” as file name, and you must save it to the “Sequencer” install folder.
This file is automatically loaded when you start the Visual Sequencer software.
The ability to save limits’ config files with a different file name / folder, allow to have different limits profile,
but you must load the correct limits’ config file manually, each time you run the software.
so, if you’re using only one robot, use the default Limits’ config file (name and folder)
if many robots, with their own limits’ config files…you must load the correct one, depending on which robot you’re using.
i hope it help ?
Thanks. I actually figured it out about the same time you posted my answer. Thanks for being so prompt in helping…
