Servo clutches from DAGU

The worst thing about miniature servos is that the gears are easy to break. I have now designed a new clutch mechanism for servos to protect the gears. The clutches replace the servo horn but are a few millimeters thicker. The video shows a QuadBot Chassis fitted with the prototype clutches.

Even after being squashed down on the table it just gets up, turns around and walks off like nothing happened!

Unlike traditional servo savers this clutch mechanism can be rotated continuously without doing damage. If it is rotated less than 90 degrees from center then it will spring back to it's original position.
