Servo and driver selection

I am working on an Arduino driven device that will function like a love tester pointing to a random dial location at the press of a button.

I am looking for servo and servo driver suggestions for what will likely be very high use. I expect the tester to be triggered up to 20 times an hour, 8 hours/day. I am programming in a delay to force the users to wait so that the device is not in constant use. I would like the servo to be 12v so I can operate all DC portions of the device off a single meanwell power supply.

Any suggestions on appropriate hardware for this project would be greatly appreciated.

Best,
D

Hello @mossandstone!

12V is a rarely seen voltage for servos, you won’t find any in Robotshop’s catalog.

Since you’ll only be driving something light, the following servo would be a good fit:

If you do not put any heavy load, you could drive it directly from an arduino.
