Serial Port not found

I was having no problems with programming until the other day. When I plug in my robot it has the correct USB cord shown and says “Ready” as if it recognizes it so I click on the ready COM and press apply and okay but whenever I go to actually put the program in the robot it says “serial port not found or already in use” any ideas?

I also used to have these problems. Try plugging it into another USB port. It worked for me. You could also try restarting the entire program or the computer.
