I can not get my sequencer program to run.
Is there a patch for using the sequencer on a computer using windows 7.
Or am I doing something wrong. 
You might want to start your own thread here. We are going to need a lot more information in order to help. Please provide a better explanation of the problem. Are there any error codes? What do you do, and what actually happens?

I don’t have a copy of Windows 7, but experienced problems with some development tools on an early release of Vista 64 bit (I ended up running them in a virtual XP machine with VirtualBox - the issues have since been fixed and it’s all running on Vista now).
Windows 7, however, has a few compatibility settings, and if that doesn’t work, also a downloadable ‘Windows XP mode’.
Good luck, and please let us know how it goes (and what, hopefully, fixed the problem), as I’m sure I’ll hit the same snag when I move to Windows 7.

OK, sorry took so long to get back with you guys.
I install the sequencer and when I try to start it, a window comes up and says;
error reading ComComboBox1->ComProperty:Registry error (win error code:2)
Looking into the other stuff you said to try.
Classic case of no serial port when the program is started. Please install your USB to serial cable before starting the program. 
Oh crap, LOL
After installing the usb drivers the sequencer worked fine.
So no one should have issues using the sequencer program on windows 7.
