Hi, I just found (and bought) a cool robot that uses the ESP8266 Wifi module to communicate with a smartphone/tablet/Ipad: jjrobots.com/projects-2/b-robot/

We are using and modifying (it is open source) two of them with my students.
Does someone know any other robot that uses the same WIFI module or similar? Bluetooth is very short range…

Very nice. The BT module looks integrated.

We have been playing with this robot and it is highly configurable (via its Arduino Code) and behaves like a charm! Very stable.
