I am looking to buy a wireless surveillance-type video camera which I will eventually mount on a robot platform. I am finding an enormous and varied selection of possibilities. I am hoping that someone can make recommendations based on their experience. I would like to keep the price below ~$150, which means that I will have to give up goodies like pan and tilt. Here is my list of requirements and preferences. Any suggestions will be appreciated.
802.11 Wireless: (required)
controlled by a PC, either directly or through WAP access. (Required)
reliable software and hardware (very important)
good picture quality, say 640x480 and 25 frames per second (very important)
color (would be nice , but not essential)
bidirectional sound (would be nice, but not essential)
visibility in low light (would be nice, but not essential)
