Seeking parts /advice to control snow plow blade

Hello,

I recently purchased a 2x32 sabertooth from you. It works great for track control /steering ( tracked robot snowplow)
Now I want to add (2) - 12v-24v linear actuators to raise, lower and angle the plow (Sovvik s-100-50-12-20) speed 16mm/s stroke 50mm duty 25% load 20 kgs
Does this require another controller( 2x12 sabertooth tied into my current RC receiver or can the 2x32 do this somehow? What do I need to achieve this?

One other question. Every once in a while I seem to be getting a control drift in the steering where a slight touch of the joystick results in a 240 360 turn- a couple of times it sat and kept spinning donuts until I shut off the transmitter- a little nerve racking 60 lbs of spinning uncontrolled iron. How can I hone this in and stop it? I welcome any direction/advice /parts list.

Steve

Hey @smeng2

You will need as many channel as the quantity of independent channel you need for your system. If you still have an available channel on your 2x32, there’s a good chance that it drive your actuator. Make sure that the actuator you choose has limit switches if you drive it from your 2x32.

There are some actuator with integrated RC controller like the L12 12V 50mm 100:1 PLC/RC Miniature Linear Actuator. What this means is that you won’t need to worry about finding the right controller and you can just feed it some 12V and an RC signal to make it move. This one is compatible with most RC controllers.
