Seeking advice for an autonomous ping pong drone player

Hello everyone,

I made an autonomous ping pong drone player prototype during my master research .

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7d_N0LZcuzk

Now it is able to return some balls thrown at it 40% of the time, in simulation it achieves 80%.

Do you think some people will be interested in that kind of product to buy to play ping pong against?

Also, what kind of team it will take to develop it from a prototype into a product and how much time?

Thanks for the feedback ! :slightly_smiling_face:

Hi @radu07 and welcome to our forum!

You project is very interesting! I think it could be a good product! Every merchandise can find its buyer somehow

Since I saw it is only returning balls relatively slowly, I guess it could be suitable for kids to start learning ping-pong (and maybe also robotics  ).

How long can battery last on this drone player? And, it sounds a little bit noisy. But this could be because the room where you played is a bit small?
