Seeed Studio TFT Touch shield v2.0 question

Hello everyone,
I’m new to the forum and I’m looking for someone in “the know” or has some experience with the Seeed Studio TFT Touch shield v2.0.

I recently purchased one and I’m having trouble initializing the SD card with an Arduino duemilanove ATmega 328. I’ve uploaded the “Card info” sketch from the Arduino programmer, and I have played around with every possible combination of chip select numbers with absolutely no success. I’ve formatted the SD card several times to fat32, it just doesn’t initialize.

I’ve searched the net extensively for any information about this problem but there isn’t much out there. Before I pull out any more hair, I’d like to make sure I’m not looking at a hardware problem.

If anyone has any suggestions, I would appreciate it.

From a hardware standpoint, it’s plug and play, and the only thing you should do is add an SD card. However, as you indicated, there could be an issue with the hardware. In this case, it’s best to contact the manufacturer either on their forum or directly. If you purchased the module through us and would like us to act as intermediary, we can do so as well.
