Search and Rescue Programming Challenge

Hi all,

My students have presented me with a program for the search and rescue competition using Lego Mindstorms EV3. The program makes sense to me, but it doesn’t seem to work properly. I can’t seem to find the mistake.
They must follow a black line and turn when the robot sees a green square. If the square is on the right of the line they must take the right path. Same for the left.
Please help! I have attached pictures of their program below as I couldn’t attach the program itself.

Unfortunately we cannot troubleshoot specific code, but perhaps someone from the community might offer some insight.
LEGO also offers an online software troubleshooting guide and if you cannot find what you need, they include a way to contact them directly.
