After evaluating is the 2D lidar usable outside of the platform?
Meaning:
Is this the same as RPLIDAR A2 360° Laser Scanner Product Code : RB-Rpk-02 with just added 2wheel platform?
I would like to dev test on it and then place it into my Rover.

It also comes with the Slamware Core, a special product from this manufacturer to perform SLAM on-board instead of simply spitting out the raw data of the RPLidar A2.
Therefore, you do get quite a bit for that extra money with the RB-Rpk-04. You can read more about the kit in the specifications and the datasheets (under Useful Links).
