Screw sizes & mechanical drawings

While I have a specific question, it has site-wide application. I am looking for the screw sizes used in the Ball Bearing Hub Kit (BBH-01). A mechanical drawing would also be helpful. While you (and Lynxmotion) have many parts that work together, when you try to “roll your own” robotic assemblies, availability of screw sizes and mechanical drawings for your various parts would be most helpful. I looked in the assembly guides online and in the forum, but there appeared to be no mention of the BBH-01. If the screw sizes are online, please provide a link. Thanks in advance…

Yes, 2-56 screws and nuts are used to attach these parts.

You will find a 4-40 bolt through the Ball Bearing Hub.

Hi johncst,

Sorry for the wait.
When you are looking at a SES pattern like on the BBH-01 it will most of the time be for 2-56 screws.
Either it will be threaded like on the BBH-01 or for plastic parts there is taping screws as well.

If you didn’t know, there are CAD model available here:

Thanks very much for the size verification. I needed longer screws, as I have thicker stock than the supplied screws could accommodate. You stock the longer screws on your site. Thanks also for the link to the CAD files. These are MOST helpful!
