Hi, i don’t know what is wrong with my scooba. I took a video, hope you guys can help me figure it out…

Good day,

If your Scooba is getting ‘Check Tank’, it may be several things.

You want to make sure that the tank is properly pushed and latched in place. If it comes loose when it runs, the robot may no longer be able to see the tank and will give you the error.

As well, you would want to make sure the vacuum port filter is installed and fully pushed into place. It has a small magnet on it to trigger a sensor; you can remove it and make sure the magnet is still there. It’s on the underside of the filter - it’s a small cylindrical projection that sticks out.

Lastly, the pump may need to be primed. If the pump makes a “whirring” or squirting sound, this indicates that the pump is turning. Using a turkey baster, straw, or sports bottle, force air or water through Scooba’s solution valve. Confirm that the baster, straw, or sports bottle fits snugly over Scooba’s solution valve and push the air or water through the system at least three times. Replace the tank and try re-starting Scooba.

If the pump does not make a “whirring” sound, or this problem occurs in the midst of a cleaning cycle, and the robot isn’t in drying mode (blinking Clean light), the pump may have stopped turning. Using the flat of your hand, strike the robot near the charging port to try to restart the pump.

Let us know how that goes. If you have any questions, do not hesitate to ask.

Thanks,
