We are constructing a solar grill with a rotisserie for Hot Dogs. I need a small motor that is gear driven and low and slow rmp that is battery operated. So, I need the motor, 2 wheels, belt( rubber bands or???) and a rod( 1/8"x 16") for the rotisserie. My curve ball is my son found out this weekend his science partner’s mom is splitting them up, we are on our own. He needs the project done by 1/18/2017. If you could help us it would be really appreciated.

As for power, you’ll need a sufficiently large solar panel, and a charging circuit, as well as a LiPo battery:

You will also need to solder wires to the motor leads, and connect them to the barrel connector above.
The solar panel will charge the battery, which in turn powers the motor.
