I use the schematic part of ExpressPCB. Extremely easy to learn and use. If you are going to make some PCB’s I would recommend diptrace.

I use eagle, also used expressPCB and still have it in my old computer, i also used fritzing, it’s for absolute beginners, VERY easy to use, you can place components on a virtual breadboard, and from there make your schematic, and etchable PCB’s.
Eagle is absolutely perfect, i’m considering upgrading to the paid version(it’s that good) it does have some weird design, and interfacing things, but you get used to it, fritzing is a huge CPU Hog, eagle runs fine, expressPCB is running on a 7 yeard old XP computer with 256Mb Of ram!
