Hi @PascalWoude!

Please give us your order ID and a serial number of the robot.

Have you already checked anti-pinch pins?

Thank you.

Hi,

Attached a picture of the serial number.

I already checked the anti-pinch.

Hi again @PascalWoude !

Can you please send a copy of the invoice?

Also, when you press RESET button, does it change to blue blinking light?

Hi,

Attached the requested copy of the invoice.
After pressing the RESET button nothing happens.
The yellow light is still blinking fast.
I need to take out the power plug. After replacing the power plug the globe is turning the wrong way so I have to pres the RESET button. Than the globe is turning to its home position. The blue light turns on as it should be.

Unfortunately this doesn’t solve the problem. After a few rounds the globe is half way and the yellow light is blinking fast again.

With best regards,

Pascal

OK, thank you for the explanation.

Can you perform hard reset (Litter-Robot III Open Air - Hard Reset) and then start a cycle. If possible, record a video and send it to us. Also, check if anti-pinch pins are touching before starting cycle.

Can you do this?

Hi,

How do I set a Hard Reset?

With best regards,

Pascal

Sorry I see the link about the Hard Reset.

Yes, please try. In that way, robot should be in the initial position ready for start.

Can you record it?

OK @PascalWoude, it is more clear now what is happening.

Globe has rotated too far and anti-pinch safety is activated.

Did you disassemble the globe completely recently?

If not, then this is usually issue with Hall-effect sensor.

You can buy new one here: https://www.robotshop.com/eu/en/litter-robot-3-open-air-wiring-harness.html

You can use this instruction to help you replace it: https://community.robotshop.com/blog/show/litter-robot-iii-the-hall-effect-sensor

Hi,

Thank you for your support. I am glad to know what the problem is. Unfortunately the sensor is out of stock until 18-12-2020.

Is there s warranty on this sensor?

I asked this because in 2019 u replaced this sensor already.

Please look at the attached picture.

With best regards,

Pascal

Hi again,

There is a 3 months warranty on Litter Robot spare parts (except for the motor which has 6 months and base which has full warranty).

Other option is that you send it for a repair to LMR repair center, since they probably has this sensor. But you have to cover all the costs (shipping, repair fee, cost of the parts).
