Hello
I´m Ron, I´m new and I´m to stupid to make a usermode i the describe Software of my Sabertooth 2x32 that i buy at Robotshop.com
The litte description in the user manual to the describe software is not enougth for me to understand this. I need more help and I hope I can get it here.
A sensor gibes 5V output that I must give to my sabertooth to stop the motors.
Thats all!
IF
A1 >=5V
motors stop
else
motors run
I cannot find out where I must edit my user mode. There are a lot of pages ( M1 M2 P1 P2… )
Is anybody there that have a little time to help me?
Ron from Germany - If you speak german- thats fine
Hi,
This can be done in the User Mode in DEScribe software.
Here is attached a User Mode example for what you are planning to do.

Hello Brahim
After a serious accident with damage to my spine and a lot of screws inside me I´m back from hospital and now I will go forward with my robot.
Thank you for the file you load up.
I don´t understand the file because the help file in DEScribe is so insufficient that only someone who dont need help can use it. ;o(
What´s the meanings of M1/M2 or P1/P2, U1/U2/U3/U4? (no explanation in the help file)
Your file is loaded into M1- It means Motor1?
…thats my first questions. Others comes after them ;o(
Please do not be angry but I want to understand it completely.
Ron
Hi Ron,
We hope that you are doing well and we wish you prompt recovery.
Correct, M1 would be Motor 1 connected to M1A and M1B screw terminals. P1 and P2 are the power outputs next to A1 and A2.
U1,U2,U3 and U4 can be used as intermediate values that will be used by more than one output. More information in page 54 of the datasheet.
Hello Brahim
I had edit user modes in M1 and M2
Can you check If its correct?
My RC controls connected to
]S1 forward/backward/:m]
]S2 left/right/:m]
If the Radar sensor gives a HIGH Signal to A1 (5V), both Motors should stop forward driving and should drive backward with 20% so long to A1 goes LOW (0V).
My code do this? I edit correct?
Thank you, Ron
I had problems to send attachments. Now its a .zip file
