Sabertooth help!

hi guys,
I have a serious problem, my sabertooth suddenly started overheating like crazy, something must have shorted. It worked fine for a week the suddenly its toast. i took the backing plate off and one of the black units on the back(not sure what they are) is getting red hot, then the overheating light comes on. My sumo competition is tomorrow! is there annyway to fix this, nothing is shorted, everything looks fine. even when its out of the robot and only power in is applied it overheats, something must be shorted! the battery im using is a 7.2volt nimh 2200mah. i guess im screwed, or going for a early morning road trip to a hobby shop.

thanks…

i think the things thats overheating is a transistor on the back.

thank god robotshop.ca is in my backyard…
