Sabertooth 2X10 (Not R/C) and Bot Board II

Hi,
anyone can help me?
I have a Sabertooth 2x10 Regenerative Dual Channel Motor Controller (NOT R/C version) and a Bot Board II with BASIC Atom Pro 28 Pin.
How can I connect theese two electronics to controlling a A4WD1? Moreover can I connect the motor controller directly with a ssc-32?
Thank you!!

Fred

The motor controller can use servo pulses as the control method. Just set the dip switch accordingly and wire in the servo cables so it can be connected to the SSC-32 or other servo pulse source. Just connect the black (brown) wire to the 0V (ground), and the yellow (white) wires to the S1 and S1 terminals. It is not necessary to connect the red (orange) wire to anything.

I’ve used Sabertooth controllers in PWM mode and it works great - just like controlling two continuous rotation servos, but with far more control of motor speed.

Jim,

Thanks for this info.

I have a Sabertooth 2X5 (Not R/C) that I am going to use on my Tri-Track Robot.

As I was reading the Sabertooth manual, I thought I just needed to hook up black (brown) wire to the 0V (ground), and the yellow (white) wires to the S1 and S1 terminals, but I wasn’t 100% sure.

Nice to find the answer here in the forums.

Thanks,
