im using 2 x 12v 4.5 ah batteries set up as 24v
when i first connected the 2 x 12rc everything was ok until the wires heated up
so i disconnected one battery
when i reconected just one 12v 4.5 ah battery it tarted to smoke
what is the best battery to use?

Please, verify the voltage on your ‘‘24V’’ output. I believe it is more than 24V and wouldn’t be recommended for the 6-24V R/C Motor Driver.
What is the specifications of the motor connected to the output of the driver?
