Sabertooth 2*25 no status led

Hi,

I have connected my sabertooth 2*25 to battery terminals and I do not see any status light.i was able to see blue led on last night.

I tired connecting motor to the motor terminals and they don’t run either.
Need help trying to find what am I missing.
attached is the picture of my battery connection I have disconnected the connections between batteries for now as seen in the pics. It is 2 12 volts 12 amp batteries in parallel I checked it shows around 25 volts in output.

Any help is appreciated.

Hi,

In the pictures you sent, it doesn’t look that you are connected your batteries in parallel.
You might want to take a look at Series vs Parallel Batteries connection here.
Also, it seems that you are using twist ties to connect your cable terminals together which is not good. You will need proper connections between the wire terminals.

Hi, sorry I about the goofup I meant connected in series.
I tried connecting single battery to power the controller but still no status led.

Have you checked the voltage on your batteries ?
Can you provide a picture showing the connection of a single battery to your Sabertooth ?

Attached is the connection to single battery and voltage measurement. Do I have to change the DIP switches?
