S15-450N Sampling rate and DAQ compatability

Hi,

I am trying to use the S15-450N pressure sensor to measure grip force along a shaft through the duration of a swing and impact. I noticed that the sampling rate was listed as >300hz, however will I be able to use a sampling rate of about 5kHz? Also I was wondering if the sensor is directly compatible with the NI USB-6009 DAQ or only the Arduino and opensource software.

Hi,

The Capacitive Force Sensor 15 mm 450N response time is less then 1ms (>1000Hz).
It is intended to work with this Capacitive Force Sensor Electronics DAQ which operates at 140 to 4000Hz.
The capacitive sensor should work with the NI USB-6009 DAQ but it needs to be tested.
