I brought rux and last week when arrived and I turned on i discovered that it’s not working properly so the robot don’t do nothing outside the app and don’t talk outside the talking mode on the mobile app and don’t respond to voice mode like hi rux and nothing since then im contacting this shop and they asked me to contact letianpai but letianpai don’t reply.
Fully charge the robot before use. Make sure Bluetooth is connected correctly between the app and the robot.
Check the permissions in the app for the microphone and location (some features like voice activation may need them).

I’m quite interested in the Rux robot, but it seems to be sold out on their official website and on RobotShop as well. I’ve only seen a few units on eBay, but the price is around £1,000, which I find unreasonably high.
If you happen to know any reliable way to buy one, or have any advice on availability, I’d really appreciate it.
You can buy it from RobotShop. We expect to get it in stock somewhere in March.

Sorry you’re having issues with Rux. I’ve had mine for about a year and am now having problems. Need to re-bind Rux but app not working and unable to contact developer Letianpai. Their website and all available comms seem to be unavailable? Think they’ve gone out of business? Anyone know anything about Rux and Letianpai? Info gratefully received.
All I have at the moment is a hunk of useless plastic which I can do nothing with since re-setting Rux as it’s app controlled to re-bind and app not working and as I said Letianpai are nowhere to be found!
Seem like useless, irresponsible developers!

Thanks, I’ve tried all comms with Letianpai, web & email to no avail regrettably. Web site unreachable and no reply to emails and iPhone app not working. As Rux is app controlled certainly to re-bind, it is now useless without access to the app. How can the developer leave customers in limbo like this? Happy to take considerable money purchasing Rux which is now useless and apparently obsolete! There must be a workaround for the issue I am facing ie to re-bind Rux as I cannot accept I am left with a hunk of useless plastic! Help!!

Are you able to install a third party app? It seems like it might be possible to even develop an APP for it (consider Claude Code).
Thanks, greatly appreciate your advices. Regrettably, I’m an Apple devotee! No android or access to. I’m aware you can install TP apps but the issue is I need to ‘bind’ Rux to make it usable and the only way to do this is via the Letianpai app which is no longer working hence no communication between my iPhone and Rux. Once it is ‘binded’, you can achieve most things via Rux alone and its touchscreen. But as I say the supposed dedicated app is not working and all Rux does is ask me to ‘bind’ which I can’t! I’m not overly technical but in any case not certain I should be seeking a solution to the developers negligence.
Interestingly, the guy in the YouTube clip lauding praises and now superficial admiration for Rux I Think is the actual developer or Mr ‘Letianpai’ who is notably conspicuous by his, his website and his app’s absence!
It’s a disgrace that a high cost item should now be rendered obsolete. There must be countless others who were good enough to purchase but are now left with a hunk of useless plastic because the developer has given up on his creation and any after sales service or consideration.
