Run the 6V stepper motor with higher voltage driver

Hello,
I was wondering if I can run the 6V stepper motor (8HS15-0604S)with my driver 8V( DRV8821DCAR )? Can this cause any issues for my motor?

Hello @Rosi and welcome to the RobotShop community,

The DRV8821DCAR is a chopper driver so there is no problem using it to drive a motor with a lower voltage rating.
