RPLidar detection problem

I bought Slamtec’s RPlidar S2L. I’ve also installed the USB to Uart driver and also Slamtec’s Robostudio to monitor the Lidar.

However, when I connect the lidar to my laptop, it is not detected in Robostudio.

Does anybody have any experience with this problem.

Does the Slamtec’s RPlidar S2L show up in your laptop’s device manager?

Confirm that the lidar unit is receiving sufficient power. Check if the power LED on the lidar is lit.Double-check if the USB to UART driver is installed correctly. If nothing makes your RPlidar functional, and it was purchased from Robotshop, please mention your invoice number. Robotshop team will contact you.
