Dear robotshop
I just recently bought RPlidar A2 and S1. I am using it with ROS and Linux
everything is ok for the first attempt with code from github https://github.com/slamtec/rplidar_ros.
after the first attempt, i try my RPlidar A2 to using it for hector mapping and it show no data in it.
I try back to the basic from slamtec rplidar, and it show no data received from the lidar A2.
I plug it off and plug it on USB again and appear an info messages that said rplidar health status : 2 and the lidar won’t spinning until i plug it off and plug it on again. When it’s spinning, there are no data received
Is it the rplidar A2 broken?
I do the same with the rplidar S1, it work perfectly even with hector mapping.
NB :
I use USB and power jack in the same time
