I have tried using an RPLIDAR A1 with an Ardunio Mega and although it works I seem to get very inconsistent results.
Has anybody tried it with an ESP32 or faster MCU have you got good results?

Hello @Rollmop,
It’s best to use a faster MCU when it comes to scanning and mapping so we would recommend the Raspberry Pi in that case.
