Rover V2 Battery Pack mount

When mounting the battery pack on the bottom of the PCB, there is no space for the washers and nuts inside the battery mount.

Hi @SPORTSCENTRE !

Thank you for choosing RobotShop.

Have you tried mounting nuts and washers from the front side:

If I try to put the screws through on the bottom side, the screw heads are also too wide to fit properly in the battery mount. They come out at the top at an angle.

Do you have any other suggestions? Is it possible that the battery mount holes are in the wrong place? Has anyone had a similar issue?

@SPORTSCENTRE This is the first we have heard of this issue. Normally the holes in the AA battery holder are close enough so that when you tighten the nuts, the screws end up straight. If this does not work, can you provide a clear photo or two showing how close the holes are to the holes on the PCB? The only thing which might cause an issue would be a change in the AA battery holder. The spacers are there to ensure the battery holder is below the solder points on the underside of the board. Await your reply.
